Yet another example of what I love about film vs. digital. I recently pulled my Nikonos off the shelf and discovered that there was still a roll of film in it. This was one of the images on that roll that was taken about 5 years ago.
That is a very cool discovery. You should take that Nikonos off the shelf and into the surf. Come on! We need some Nor Cal coverage in the water. Nothing says surfing like dark water, fog, full wet suits, hoodies, booties, choppy conditions, and kooks. We need to offset all that dumb sun, blue water, clean waves, and board shorts image of surfing.

I did get the 600mm out so I can sit on the shore in my parka with hot chocolate. I'll be venturing out soon enough.
